Well, today was the last day of Dallas Comic-Con’s Fan Days! I was fortunate enough to be able to sit in on the Firefly/Serenity panel with Alan Tudyk and Gina Torres, and I must say, I did not realize how hilarious Alan Tudyk is! They spoke quite a bit about this year being the tenth anniversary of Firefly, as well as about how FOX treated them while they were on the air, which, according to them, was pretty poorly. I guess they didn’t realize quite what they were sitting on back then. They also gave the audience a few funny anticodes about Joss Whedon, as well as a taste of Gina Torres’ singing abilities and let me tell you, that woman can sing!
I also made my way up to the artist’s alley and had the opportunity to meet a few of the artists that I had hoped to meet. They had so many great artists there – I wish I had had the time to meet them all.

Frank Cho signing Avengers VS X-Men #0
Joe Eisma signing Morning Glories Volume 2
Once again, there were tons of great costumes today! Here are a few of my favorites from the day:
Overall, I think that Fan Days was a huge success! It was much more organized and calm than Dallas Comic-Con this past May and everyone that was there seemed to be having a great time! Next up? Dallas’ Scifi Expo in February!
