Well, it only took about 27 years to see the light of day, but Alan Moore’s Fashion Beast finally arrives in comic shops this Wednesday. Originally written as a screenplay in the mid 80′s, Fashion Beast has been adapted to comic form by Antony Johnston with art by Facundo Percio. The fact that this was written in 1985, when Moore seemed to be cranking out one masterpiece after the next seems to have everyone (myself included) really excited. Plus, I’m always a sucker for a beauty and the beast type story. I just hope that it lives up to the expectations so many of us have placed on it. Fashion Beast is published by Avatar Press and is a 10-issue series.
